Inclusivity: We welcome all food-related businesses in the River Valley to become members and participate in the Savor community. 

Collaboration: We work together to promote all members’ success.

The importance of local: We promote all pieces of our local food economy – farmers, processors, restaurants, and retailers -- and encourage households and businesses to support this food economy as much as possible.

People: We are about more than food – we are also about the people who create the food. We tell the stories of Savor members and emphasize the importance of the people behind the food.  

Community: We recognize that our food ecosystem is part of the local community.  We support the community and likewise look to the community for support.

Stewardship: We acknowledge that the food ecosystem is part of our larger ecosystem. We seek to educate people about and encourage practices that enrich and protect our soils, keep our water supply safe and clean and produce nutritious, healthy food.
